Now Buildings believe now is the perfect time to buy a new shed with their end of financial year trade sale.
Now Buildings is a family owned Australian company with over 30 years experience in supplying wholesale sheds directly to trade, businesses and farmers.
The company has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on research into improving their designs and looking at better and faster ways to assemble their sheds.
Although traditionally many sheds have three sides closed and one side open with pillars inside to support the roof, Now Buildings have determined that their sheds could be built without pillars and the usual knee braces in the corners, allowing for wider gable lengths.
“All farm machines are getting wider and higher,” national wholesale manager of Now Buildings, Trevor Walker said.
“We also had to find ways to improve connections systems so we would not have knee braces, so we developed a unique double bracketing system.”
He said that these and other innovations have resulted in sheds that are quicker and easier for farmers to assemble.
Now Buildings can also supply combination sheds, with up to six 20 metre sheds beside each other, giving an opening as wide as 120 metres with very few posts.
The company uses specialised laser cutters worth more than $1 million that can cut brackets to within one-hundredth of a millimetre.
“We use only the best quality steel from BlueScope Steel,” Mr Walker said.
