The Clipex Heavy Duty Cattle Work Area System is impressing farmers with its automatic features and ease of operation.
The HD Cattle Work Area System was constructed and displayed at Agquip and Australian National Field Days last year.
It attracted many viewers who were impressed with the features and ease of operation, making cattle handling a one- or two-man job.
“Our focus is to come alongside farmers and show them how to make working on their farm easier and safer with our cattle handling and fencing solutions,” a spokesman said.
“The Cattle Work Area System boasts efficiency and convenience with its ability to be controlled with the palm of your hand.
“It features patented force tub doors, which significantly reduces the risk of workplace injury by taking out the need to be physically situated where the cattle are.
“Packed full of features the HD Cattle Work Area system includes the HD 2000 series crush with automatic weighing and drafting capabilities, a three-way draft module and 6-metre ramp which is all hooked up into a remote system so you are able to operate the tub, slide gate, crush and draft – all at the press of a button.
“Weighing and drafting an impressive 300 head per hour, the system is built to last a lifetime and is designed to reduce stress on stock and increase the safety of users.”
There is no need to enter the cattle area as it is all remotely controlled.
Clipex founder Ashley Olsson said the special features on products such as the heavy duty cattle crush range set them apart.
“We don’t believe in what is referred to as ‘in-built obsolescence’,” he said.
“We aim to maximise the life of our products, for example our heavy duty cattle crush is designed to last a very long time.
“Its components are hot-dipped galvanised after construction, and made from very strong steel, so they won’t rust or wear out easily, and it can be serviced very easily and cost-effectively.”
