Ivan Peppe, Howlong was very pleased with the return from this pen of 18 Angus heifers, Jarobee-blood weighing 326kg and sold for $1160. The young heifers were surplus to Mr Peppe's requirements, in very good condition.

The yarding of 1645 grown cattle at Wodonga would be best described as being of fair to average quality with the odd pen only of good quality.
