The dryer season obviously played on the minds of potential buyers resulting in all categories selling at cheaper levels with a number of lots being passed in.
Steers and heifers were cheaper with weaner steers selling from $480 for lightweights to $1115 and averaged $800 or 334 cents per kilogram.
Yearling heifers made from $700 to $860 while weaners sold from $300 to $930.
However, good lines of PTIC heifers although cheaper, made from $970 to $1260.
Cows with calves were also cheaper by $100 when selling from $950 to $1680.
PTIC cows averaged $1170.
