Primary Industries Minister Niall Blair will headline a Q and A-style examination of the NSW budget in Sydney – an event that will also be livestreamed on The Land’s Facebook page from 12.30pm on Tuesday.

The panel discussion – which will be chaired by Fairfax Agricultural group managing editor Brad Cooper – also features Department of Primary Industries director general Scott Hansen, Local Land Services chair of chairs Richard Bull, and the chief executive of NSW Farmers, Matt Brann.
NSW Farmers president Derek Schoen was down to speak at the event but has been stranded at Albury Airport due to fog.
Particular attention will be given to the future of agriculture and rural living in NSW, as the state strives for a 30 per cent growth goal in farm output by 2030.
Each panelist will address the NSW Farmwriters crowd at the Grace Hotel and will take questions from the floor.
