DUNEDOO store cattle sales have stayed above the lower price trend experienced this month around the state with values last Thursday firm and even $50 dearer than last month’s sale.
Milling Stuart Pty Ltd selling agent Jamie Stuart, Dunedoo, said values for all categories held firm in the 350 head yarding.
“This sale and our last a month ago have kept on the high side of values this month and the rain has also certainly helped buyer decisions,” he said.
“I’d say vendors would be pleased and buyers would be looking forward to more rain.”
Buyers were active from Narrabri, Scone, Gunnedah, Condobolin, Orange and the local area.
