Canola production expected to rise but still well below long term averages

IN SPITE of near ideal growing conditions in key canola producing regions through Victoria and South Australia in particular, the Australian Oilseeds Federation (AOF) has come out with a below average estimate for this year's national crop.

Gregor Heard is ACM's national grains industry reporter, based in Horsham, Victoria. He has a wealth of knowledge surrounding the cropping sector through his 15 years in the role.
