"If you are near these fires, your life is at risk and you need to take action to protect your life" is the message that has been issued by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS).
The latest information issued by the RFS says there are emergency warnings in the areas of Tenterfield, Armidale, Clarence Valley, Port Macquarie, Nambucca, Kempsey and other Mid North Coast areas.
"These fires are very dangerous. If you are near these fires, your life is at risk and you need to take action to protect your life," the RFS warning said.
Homes have been destroyed by bush fires and hundreds of people have been evacuated as an unprecedented number of 16 emergency fires rage across the state with 96 blazes burning in NSW.

An emergency warning is in place for a bush fire burning in the area of Armidale Road at Willawarrin, west of Kempsey with immediate threat to properties.
The Kempsey Cup was cancelled due to ash and smoke from fires burning in the area.
The Pacific Highway has been cut in a number of places due to the fires.
With northern NSW was a state of the fire activity, there was snow recorded on the alpine peaks at Thredbo.
RFS fire updates
7.51pm: An emergency warning is in place for the Willi Willi area due to a bush fire. The fire has burnt more than 4,100 hectares and is not under control.
7.33pm: A bush fire is burning in the Chaelundi State Forest and Marara State Forest, west of Nymboida. The fire has burnt more than 22,700 hectares and is spreading quickly.
7.31pm: A bush fire is burning in the area of Hillville, south of Taree, and is speading quickly. The fire is more than 4,300 hectares in size and has crossed the Pacific Highway. It is out of control.
7.19pm: An emergency warning is in place for a fast moving bush fire burning in the area of Long Flat, west of Wauchope. It is 2,000 hectares and is being controlled.
7.18pm: A bush fire is burning in the area of Clouds Creek State Forest, south east of Grafton. The fire over 4,400 hectares and is being controlled.
7.16pm: A bush fire is burning in the Schultz Road, Tyringham area. The fire is 1,000 hectares and out of control.
7.15pm: An emergency warning is in place for a bush fire burning in the area of Myall Creek Rd, Bora Ridge.
