The world may be changing as we know it but that doesn’t mean the show can’t go on. The Land’s 2020 Beef Battle is an online showing experience, broadcasting live judging of the state’s best beef cattle over five blockbuster nights.

With a trailer load of prizes on offer, this is an event not to be missed.

Entries open from March 27 until April 3 with your contributed photos and videos of each individual animal will be collated for a team of judges to cast their eyes over. The photos and footage will be collated and divided into respective classes for both Bos Indicus and Bos Taurus rings with a team of judges then casting their eyes over the animals. The live judging will be broadcast across The Land each night from April 27 to May 1 culminating in a supreme interbreed award.

Each stud can only nominate a maximum of two bulls and two females entries. Entrants will be promoted before and after the event in NSW’s top agricultural newspaper, making this one of the best promotional opportunities to date.

The event will be pushed and promoted across the ACM network through multiple platforms, including our masthead websites, social media channels, various digital platforms and of course through our print products.

As this is our first foray into online showing we are not 100 per cent sure of what to expect, BUT we do know a lot of studs and beef producers alike are going to be locked up at home and looking to consume some engaging content - and what better way to do that than through a live event.
