CATTLE judge James Pisaturo, Mendooran, could see a future in the young Charolais heifer he put up as supreme cattle exhibit at the 2015 Coonabarabran Show.
Temana Kloe, exhibited by the Griffin family, Temana Charolais stud, Baradine, and shown by Caitlyn Green, Coonabarabran High School, was placed ahead of fellow junior champion exhibit, Charolais bull Elstow Jim Beam.
"She is very hard to fault," Mr Pisaturo said.
"My type of animal - the complete package."
In the sheep ring, St Lawrence's Primary School student Harry Allen was sashed champion parader, leading a Dorset Horn exhibit.
Fellow student Wilmie van Schalkwiky, with a Poll Dorset exhibit, was awarded reserve champion parader.
The showgirl competition was announced a month earlier than the show, to enable the entrants to be more heavily involved in show proceedings, including the art preview the Thursday before the show.
Tayla Cormie, Coonabarabran, was sashed 2015 Showgirl with Hilary Blackman, Coonabarabran, runner-up.
Miss Cormie will soon start a Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Newcastle, while Miss Blackman, who graduated from high school at Armidale last year, will spend the next year in Coonabarabran before starting a teaching degree at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016.
