A TOP of $3000 was achieved at the Tattykeel Poll Dorset Flock Ram sale on Wednesday.
The top-priced ram was purchased by repeat buyer Tony Rutter, Tarcutta.
Second-top buyer was Robert Sheridan, Woodstock Prime Lamb, Junee, who took home a total of seven rams to a top of $2400, twice.
Mr Sheridan, also a repeat client of the Gilmore family's Tattykeel stud at Black Springs via Oberon, said he had been very impressed by the progeny of his previous purchases, and said the rams generally represented very good muscle, meat and hindquarters.
The rams made an average of $1153 with 126 rams sold out of the 150 offered.
