Senior champion Jersey female was awarded to Kathleigh Gun Grace, exhibited by Cherrylock Cattle Co and Kathleigh Jerseys. She was also awarded senior champion udder by judge Darrin Grevett, Eumundi, Queensland, and later only just missed being crowned interbreed supreme champion dairy female.
The rising four year old is no stranger to glory having won last years intermediate udder and claimed supreme interbreed intermediate champion at Sydney Royal. Sired by JV Jade Hired Gun from Kathleigh Astound S Grace the champion produces 30l/day and is on target to produce 7500l this lactation.
Reserve senior champion female was awarded to Brian and Vicki Wilson and family, Shirlinn Jerseys, Tamworth, with Shirlinn Governor Eve, by Griffens Governor from Shirlinn Flower Eve.
Class of three females was awarded to Shirlinn Jersey Stud with the Buckley familys Nimerald stud, Camden, in second and Dr John Quin and familys Orana stud, Menangle, in third.
Dams progeny went to Shirlinn Brazil Babe exhibited by the Wilson family with reserve going to Orana Angelas Pet exhbited by Dr John Quin and family.
The class of five females went to Shirlinn followed by Orana.
Intermediate champion female was presented to Brunchilli Vanahlem Eileen 2, led by Hayley Menzies and exhibited by Brunchilli Farming Trust, Numbaa via Nowra. The three year old on her first lactation was sired by Pannoo Abe Vanahlem from Brunchilli B Eileen.
Reserve intermediate went to Shirlinn Tequila Dawn, exhibited by Brian Wilson and partners, Tamworth. The 37 month old cow also was awarded best intermediate udder, producing 30 litres per day with a forecast 7000l from her first 305 day lactation.
Junior champion female was awarded to the 15 month old Parrabel Incentive Christine exhibited by the Cochrane family, Singleton. Mr Grevett described the heifer, sired by Hometown Incentive from L Ormiere Fusion Christine, as an outstanding example of the breed with a show ring style, grace and precision.
Reserve was awarded to Hazel Vale Premier Maybelle ET, exhibited by Jason Hayes, Hazel Vale, Invergordon Victoria. The rising two year old sired by Hawarden Impuls Premier from Buffelvale JT Maybelle 2 was praised by Mr Grevett for her capacity.
Three females by one sire not over two years was won by the Kendale Jerseys by the Atkin family, Johns River, with Orana stud by Dr John Quinn and family in second. There was no third place.
