The one hundred per cent clearance of 73 two year old Angus bulls at the annual spring sale on account the Burton-Taylor family, Kenny’s Creek Angus, Boorowa realised a top price of $26,000 and sale average of $8678.
Kenny’s Creek Intensity L123 was purchased by Victorian studs Pathfinder Angus and Chilton Park Angus for $26,000 and was purchased through AuctionsPlus.
Peter Young, Chiltern Park Angus, Macarthur, Victorianor said they were attracted to the bull for his pedigree along with his excellent EBV’s.
“His sire HPCA Intensity has been an outstanding bull with a lot of great progeny including the $36,000 bull sold at the Rennylea Angus sale, and he comes from a great dam sired by Millah Murrah Equator,” Mr Young said.
“I will naturally mate him with daughters of Ayrvale Bartel E7.”
Return clients the Coolac Cattle Company, purchased five new sires for average $8,100 for their properties “Cooininee”, and “Harvey Park”, Coolac, while the Stan Henwood Trust, “Barkala Park”, Bethungra took home three new sires for $10,167 average price.
Riverina producer John Lamb Pastoral Co, “Willurah”, Conargo outlayed $8000 each for two bulls.
Landmark studstock settled the sale which was interfaced with AuctionsPlus and Andrew Wishart and Tim Woodham shared the auctioneering duties.
