With a whopping $10,000 in prizes and cash for this year’s Fashions On The Field and perfect spring weather the racegoers flocked to the Forbes Spring Races.
Organisers were overwhelmed with the support they received from their extremely generous local businesses, which made this year the biggest prize pool they have ever had in cash and prizes for fashions on the field.
Local girls Lexie Finn and Madison Chau were named the best dressed tiny tot and junior respectively while Melissa West was the judges choice for the best cutting edge race wear on the day.
Making it a clean sweep for the Forbes locals, Gavin Stephenson and Susan Earl were named the best dressed gent and most elegant lady at this year’s spring races.
