THE party dresses were dusted off and the Christmas cheer flowed trackside at the Warren Jockey Club’s annual twilight races.
In addition to the six race TAB meeting with a record number of starters, there was also the Western Farm Machinery and Muldoon Patten Ag Consulting Dash for Cash.
The 200-metre sprint down the straight after the last race of the day attracted over 70 racegoers who were all very eager to claim the $200 cash prize for the first male and female over finish line.
Santa also made a visit to the Randwick of the West to see all the little ones, handing out lollies as well as taking last minute requests for under the Christmas tree.
As the last horse left the race course the undercover betting ring came alive with the Legless Pedestrians performing from 8pm through to midnight as well as DJ Harpoon supplying the nights entertainment for the bigger kids.
