PEOPLE from near and far dusted themselves off after a big Christmas Day and flocked to the Tumut Boxing Day races on Tuesday.
The race meet has become a favourite fixture on the region’s social calendar and the 2017 edition proved no exception.
While some attended with the sole aim of backing a winner or two, others went along simply to soak up the festive atmosphere.
For the record, the Gary Colvin-trained Boipelo won the first, while Trevor Sutherland won with Oh What A Thief in the second.
Jon Grisedale was first past the post aboard the Donna Grisedale-trained Snippy Skippy in the third, and To A Degree saluted in the fourth.
The Georgie Boucher-trained Abington Threat edged out its more fancied rivals to win the last.
