Peter and Annette Thomson met about eight years ago through mutual friends while they were living in Orange NSW. But it wasn’t until their paths crossed again in 2015 that they knew it was meant to be with Peter proposing on New Years Eve 2016.
When they bought a house in the Hawkesbury district where they both grew up, the happy couple knew that's where they wanted to get married. The ceremony was held at historic Pitt Town Anglican Church on October 7 2017, with a beautiful reception held on the banks of the Hawkesbury River in an outdoor marquee at Cornwallis House.
The best man was Joe Kovacek and groomsman Craig King while Annette’s sisters Trish Thomas and Melanie Jovanovski were bridesmaids.
“I’ll never forget dancing under the stars with Peter on our custom made timber dance floor, built by my father Steve Brown,” Annette said.
