Back Up Charlie (BUC) has enjoyed a successful year with sales in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.
BUC won two awards at the Australian National Field Days in Orange.
The popular machine claimed the The Land Machine of the Year 2017 and the NAB Agribusiness Award of Excellence 2017.
These awards added to BUC’s Henty Machinery Field Days, Machine of the Year Award in 2016.
BUC is continuing to solve many problems that people are experiencing, helping maintain a constant flow of sheep into many types of sheep handling equipment and is also creating labour efficiencies and reducing physical efforts.
These improvements are experienced in many situations including handlers, weighing boxes, pregnancy scanners, jetting plants and crutching trailers.
The team is happy to advise interested people on yard design and construction, helping people with their overall flow and management of sheep yards, to get the most out of their BUC.
The designer of BUC, Charlie Webb, has 40 years experience in livestock handling and yard design.
On ‘Lakeside’, Charlie and Tana Webb’s property near Urana, NSW, they run a flock of 3,000 ewes and annually shear 6,000 sheep and lambs.
BUC can be found at many of the Agricultural Field Days around south-east Australia.
The next field day BUC is attending is the Hay Ag and Pastoral Innovation Expo and then the South East Field Days held at Lucindale, South Australia.
Interested people can also check out BUC by appointment at ‘Lakeside’.
