The inaugural autumn first-cross ewe sale account Gnadbro Pastoral Co, Collingullie saw 2,875 nine-ten month ewe lambs sell for $233 average price.
Values for the young sheep ranged from $196 to the top of $266 paid by the McKelvie family from Marrar.
They were among many repeat buyers and clients of the Gnadbro program from Collingullie, Yerong Creek, Coolamon, The Rock, Narrandera, Ganmain and Ardlethan, who competed to fill their business requirements.
Selling agent, Jarrod Slattery, Landmark, Wagga Wagga reported a very strong sale.
“The clients were very happy and presented the sheep in excellent order; an outstanding line up of vendor bred ewe lambs,” he said.
Landmark Wagga conducted the sale with Peter Cabot taking the bids.
