Luddenham known as ‘The Country Show’ is traditionally the first of the lead up shows to the Sydney Royal Easter show. Many of the animals that will be striving for a blue ribbon at world famous Royal will be blowing off the cobwebs at the historic Luddenham showgrounds on February 17 and 18.
Both days are filled with entertainment and activities including traditional favourites such as horse classes and cattle, while the woodchips will fly on the Sunday with not just some of Australia’s best but international axemen trying to cut their logs in the quickest time possible.
This year’s main arena entertainment includes HLS Trick Riding who hail from Queensland and are recognised as one of Australia’s foremost tricking riding outfits. Cowboys will also pit their wits against 800kgs of raging steak to try and take home a pocket full of cash and glory.
There will also be the three sheep dog trial taking place and back by popular demand is the demolition derby.
