Sunday was almost a wash-out at Canberra Royal, and it was too wet to get out and take photos even though many spectators continued to crowd through the entrance gates albeit clad in wet-weather gear.
Action in the sheep shed was almost completed: the only event to be concluded was the junior judging and junior handling classes involving many of the school students who were at the show with their preferred breed.
Reece Webster, St Stanislaus College, Bathurst and Brooke Baker, Macarthur Anglican School, Cobbity tied equal first in the Senior Handling class sponsored by University of New England at the Canberra Royal.
They were each awarded the trophy for British Breeds Young Judges and Junior Handling.
Mr Webster was also successful in coming first in the Junior Judging competition, and awarded the Gooramma Poll Dorset Stud Trophy.
He also had a very successful showing of his sheep when he paraded both the champion Suffolk ram and ewe.
Miss Baker also had a busy program during the show, as she was involved in parading sheep during the judging of the Corriedale classes.
