A creative young rural property agent has decided to anti-market a property in Bombala in southern NSW, by giving interested parties five reasons they should avoid the property, in a video released to market this week.
George Southwell of Ray White Rural Canberra and Yass shot a video onsite at the southern NSW property “Crystal View” expressing the key reasons the property is not ideal.
“I’m gunna give you five reasons you won’t want to buy this property,” says Mr Southwell standing in front of the town welcome sign to Bombala.
The first reason not to buy Crystal View is the isolation.
The new purchaser will have to up their vehicle numbers in order to fill the massive shed on the property.
“You’ll have to think twice about how many vehicles you own,” he said.
A large entertainment space, a flash woolshed and proximity to the coast means you’ll be burdened with trying to balance your time between hosting guests, shearing on weekends and trying to fit in beach escapes and a spot of ocean fishing.
“But hands down, the biggest problem with “Crystal View” is that it has too much space,” Mr Southwell adds.
“But if you can get past all the negatives, give me a call.”
The neat farm is named with reference to the crystal clear views of snow capped mountains in the distance.
“Crystal View” has been owned for many years by the Milliner family who have used the property for their transport and earthmoving business.
The Milliners will be selling the land complete with barn, woolshed, a gigantic shed with office and ample water storage.”
There are two homes, the larger has a notable verandah, the second has an entertainment area and barbeque area.
It is located just five kilometres from small rural service centre of Bombala, 200km from Canberra and a tad over 80km to the beautiful South Coast.”
“This is a property that could suit many needs; not least of all running livestock,” he said.
