A good line of 80 pregnancy-tested-in-calf heifers sold to good competition at Maitland on Saturday – albeit for $15 per head less than the previous store sale - with a PTIC average of $1100 and a top of $1300.

BUYERS from the Central West, Mid North Coast and Victoria cleared all 650 head from Saturday’s Bowe and Lidbury Feature and All Breeds Female Sale at Maitland, with mixed cattle conditions, and a mixed market reflecting a challenging dry spell for the Hunter Valley.
