The first car show hosted by the Spring Hill community attacted hundreds of people to the small village at the weekend.
Two months in the planning, one of the organisers Beth Mills said the event was solely for the tight-knit community to get out and enjoy itself and bring some money into the town.
The brainchild of the Spring Hill Activities Group Inc, Ms Mills said a lot of young families were gravitating to Spring Hill, now boasting a population of between 300 and 400.
The school’s population has swelled too, with 40 children now attending.
Ms Mills said the lifestyle blocks around Spring Hill were popular.
Nicole Day and husband Peter moved to the town about 14 months ago, Peter works for the Department of Primary Industries.
Both said they enjoyed getting out and meeting the locals.
