Mr Hansen gave a candid view of the like skills he learned to get where is, including his time as a young man working in a pub, learning how to deal with customers and be considerate!
He also revealed his 10-year stint with Meat and Livestock Australia gave him the knowledge base to deal with overseas markets and how to sell produce in America, especially Australian beef.

His aim was to provide a DPI service that engaged with staff, met customers needs, and met goals such as encouraging agriculture to expand and grow in its total worth. He also learnt its okay to appoint people who are smarter than you! (So you can surround yourself with great and diverse ideas).
