It’s considered the “Royal of the North” and in its 108th anniversary Wauchope Show is set to be bigger and better than ever.
With the 2017 Wauchope Showgirl Nikki Gibbs taking out The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition at the Easter Show recently, the show is confident it has another strong contender from this year’s entrants. There are six senior and six junior entrants for Wauchope Showgirl who have been presented with a pair of Wrangle Jeans and a Thomas Cook shirt by Wauchope Produce.
Show president Neil Coombes said the dedicated committee had been working tirelessly to put on a memorable show that included an exclusive performance from country music superstar Amber Lawrence who will perform songs from her Kids Gone Country album as well as young talent Sam Handford.
Also featuring is David Manchon and his team from Rooftop Express, the iconic demolition derby and fireworks display.
