Striking pink cotton bales are attracting attention across the New England, as farmers throw their support behind women struggling with breast cancer.
“It’s nice to see something different out in the paddock,” Moree’s Matt Wannan said.
“It’s a good cause and good for a change.”
Simon Doolin’s North Star property is drawing visitors keen to take their picture alongside the bright bales.
Wrap manufacturers Tapex Agri offered the unusual colour in place of the traditional yellow in exchange for a 50c donation to the McGrath Foundation for each bale.
The Moree branch of Chesterfield Australia sold 10 pallets of the pink wrap.
