THE first light dusting of snow has been recorded at Barrington Tops.
As a cold snap swept across the state late on Friday, the temperatures dropped low enough for a bit of the white stuff to scatter across the mountain range on Saturday, May 12.
It didn’t take long for Barrington Tops Snow Chaser Facebook group members to post their photos of the pretty sight.
BTSC admin Rob Balint lives in Quirindi and has been chasing snow for three years.
“I love the beauty of the tops when it is snowing so I chase whenever I can,” he told the Maitland Mercury.
