The Norm Smith Pavilion at the Hay Showgrounds was full with stud and commercial Merino sheep and spectators, fascinated by the wool industry were on hand to witness one of the best exhibitions of sheep in the country.
Stud breeders attended from Victoria, SA, the Monaro and mid-west NSW, along the many studs from the Riverina and south-west slopes.
