Natalie and Chris Paterson from Heart Angus stud, Timbumburi, opened their gates today with a quality draft of sale bulls for their 2nd annual on-property sale on display. Thirty six bulls, ranging in age from 15-months-old up to 23-months-old, sparked interest from new and existing clients, particularly from the tablelands.
Nine studs opened their gates on day three of the Ausmectin Northern Beef Week. The event continues through to Sunday, July 1.
Studs on display on day three included Bungulla Shorthorns, Haras Simmentals and Oakey Creek Speckle Parks at Manilla, XL Beef Angus at Dungowan, Reedy Creek Herefords and Heart Angus in the Tamworth area, Cascade Poll Hereford and Angus and Warragundi Poll Herefords and Wagyu at Currabubula, and Wombramurra Black Simmentals at Nundle.

The focus tomorrow will be on studs in the Inverell, Bingara and Bundarra areas.
