DSK TGL Metric M59E (ET) (P) has been named the supreme exhibit of the 2018 Pickles Auctions Charolais National Showcase, following his senior and grand champion bull win.
Judged by Tim Vincent from Booragul Angus, Piallaway, the bull was exhibited by Chris Knox and Helen Alexander from DSK Charolais stud, Coonabarabran.
Mr Vincent said he couldn’t go past the bull for his supreme champion.
“He is big and strong with a lot of strength of spine and sire’s appeal. He stands square and has good testicular development,” he said.
“He has goods scan with a lot of carcase, showing he has the ability to put fat down on a large amount of meat which I believe is paramount at the moment.”
