Sara Park Angus stud principal, Herb Duddy, said he was happy with the results of the sale considering the widespread dry conditions.
“It wasn't dear and it wasn't a disaster, so it was a reasonable success,” he said.
Mr Duddy said he was extremely happy with the offering of bulls in sch a tough season.
“Under the conditions, I thought our bulls were the best line of bulls we'd ever had,” he said.
“It wasn't just the presentation, it was the quality of them and they were good right to the back end of the catalogue.
“They were very well prepared because we had to feed them, because there wasn't much in the paddock and numerous bulls were over 900kg.”
The sale was conducted by Ray White Tenterfield and Landmark Glen Innes with John Settree taking the bids on the day.
