Remtron Air, based in Albury, have been supplying compressed air to industry across north-east Victoria and Riverina for the past 12 years.
According to a company spokesman, they have a good understanding of what’s required with every application.
“With flammable material on exhaust manifolds and turbochargers causing combine harvester fires, portable air compressors have become an important piece of equipment on the farm,” the spokesman said.
“That means manoeuvrable units such as Sullair’s 185A diesel portable air compressor, which will be on show at the Henty Machinery Field Days, are in the spotlight.
“Built for Australian conditions and with an integrated after-cooler, the 185A can quickly blow down an expensive harvester, protecting against both possible fire and crop contamination.
“With a Kubota diesel engine, the 185A comes with dual cyclonic air filters, automotive fuses, and stainless steel hinges and fittings.
“It is designed by Sullair Australia’s engineers for tough Australian conditions and is full of features.
“Normally you buy these compressors as a standard base machine and then you have to pay extra for all the options.
“You pay for things like bunding, after-coolers, water separators and E-Stops.
“Sullair have designed this machine so it’s got all the additional features as standard.”
