If the soulless hard sell of modern day shopping centres leaves you cold, be reinvigorated with some good old-fashioned retail therapy on E Street at the Australian National Field Days (ANFD).
E Street was traditionally a base for the general interest exhibitors.
It has now emerged as a highly sought-after location due to the growing number of people who head there looking to get their country style on.
The eclectic mix of smaller market-style stallholders and large national exhibitors provides something for everyone and anyone looking to pick-up a bargain on quality products.
All the favourite exhibitors are set to return for 2018, so you can count on doing your annual stock up.
The field days is the ideal place for all the family to try on a few hats and grab the new boots to replace the worn out sad looking collection at the back door.
E Street will have everything from the latest caps to timeless broad rimmed dress hats on offer, along with all your work and going out essentials.
As well as the busy outdoor stalls, E Street is home to two permanent pavilions – the Style Pavilion and The Shed.
Get your spring wardrobe sorted with field day discounts available on all the favourite styles and brands or take some time out to gain some fashion inspiration with the popular fashion parades.
The Style Pavilion will again host the fashion parades showcasing clothing and accessories from Style Pavilion stallholders at 11am and 1pm each day.
Don’t forget to finish your clothing purchases off properly with a collection of the latest accessories and a much-needed update of your cosmetics.
The jewellery, bags, and scarves on offer at the field days are always on-trend and great value.
E Street is one of the busiest streets on the field days site for a reason.
You can spend hours walking through the plants and garden products.
Take the opportunity to pick the brains of experts manning the stalls and get some handy time-saving products for all applications.
Back by popular demand will be the floral art demonstrations by Sarah Cox Designs.
Held in the Style Pavilion, the demonstrations will be performed at 10.30am and 12.30pm daily.
Ms Cox is a well-known local TAFE teacher with more than 20 years’ experience working in the floral industry.
The talented CWA ladies will also be cooking up a storm with their annual Secret Ingredient demonstrations along with the customary scones, jam and cream on offer.
The CWA demonstrations will be held at 11.45am and 1.45pm daily.
