Hardwood Mills and Norwood Sawmills are leaders in portable bandsaw sawmills.
If you have timber on your property that can be milled, why not have a look at milling it yourself?
Using a bandsaw on Australian hardwoods is quick and easy, sales manager Kerry Moring said.
A bandsaw also produces a very smooth finish perfect for floor boards, furniture makers and slabs, he said.
“You can slab or mill dimensional timbers such as four by twos, big beams, as well as milimetre-perfect laminates,” he said.
“The benefits of using a bandsaw is there is very little wastage, as the kerf of the blade is only 1.85mm.”
Mills range from 26-inch to 36-inch in diameter, and the blades can handle can handle stringy, ironbark, box and exotic timbers.
Hardwood Mills has been in operation since 2006 and specialises in portable timber mill, and Norwood Sawmills has been producing portable sawmills for more than 20 years.
