Telstra and NSW Farmers held a technology breakfast at the Australian National Field Days this morning.
The telecommunications company also used the occasion to present a $100,000 cheque to the Country Women’s Association for its Disaster Relief Fund.
CWA members Margaret Brown, Cumnock branch, and Robyn Taylor, Orange, were on hand to accept the cheque on behalf of the organisation from Telstra's regional Australia executive, Janet Barnes.
The breakfast also featured talks on a range of topics.
Telstra's product manager for smart farm James Barnard, Melbourne, gave a presentation as did Telstra's subject matter expert, Tara Yates, Sydney.
