Reserve champion heifer went to 14-month-old Limousin female LaValla Namadia N4 exhibited by Karinne Gelderman from Berdihold Limousins, Oswald, that placed second to the overall champion in the 12- to 16-month-old class.
Sired by Greenwood Candian Impact from LaValla Kateri, judge Mr McAlpin said he admired the heifer for her depth of body and thickness but she wasn’t as structural correct and didn’t have as good of a hoof structure as the female in the champion position.
This reserve win for Namadia follows on from the female’s supreme Limousin exhibit crown at the 2018 Melbourne Royal Show.
