Forbes Machinery Centre boasted a very large and comprehensive display at this year’s Australian National Field Days.
This was especially the case for their New Holland range.
With something for everyone, Forbes Machinery Centre’s New Holland display included 22 tractors in a wide range of sizes for different applications, five construction vehicles and two hay and silage machines.
The tractor which enjoyed the most interest was the new T4S.
Coming standard with a front-end loader, the T4S is available with a three cylinder engine varying from 55 to 75 horsepower and features a shuttle transmission.
The T4S has only recently been released in Australia and New Holland’s Matthew Amery is confident it will do well.
“It is a machine which is very versatile,” Mr Amery said.
“Coming with the front-end loader attached as standard will also be very enticing to prospective customers.
“While it is a traditionally sized compact tractor, the T4S offers best in class comfort with it’s new cab.
“Developed just for the T4S, the new four-post cab offers all-round visibility, including an opening roof panel for front-end loader work.
“It has up to 316 degree all-round visibility, letting the operator see what is going on around them.
“The cab offers great ergonomics with all the levers close to the operator.
“The T4S has great versatility, not only through the engine variations, but with it’s wide tyres and excellent rear lifting capacity.
“It boasts a rear lift of up to 3000kg, which also adds to its versatility.
“The T4S range has a fuel efficient engine and an 82 litre fuel tank.
“The 2.9 litre three cylinder engine offers lots of power, lots of torque and lots of performance.
“All of these features make it an ideal tractor for smaller operations or vineyards while still being a useful machine on bigger properties.
“It is that versatility which will make the New Holland T4S a very popular tractor in Australia.
“It is a great all-round tractor.”
