The price of cows was most affected with the main categories shedding seven to 13 cents a kilogram live.
Grown steer and bullock rates were also trimmed 5-7c/kg live, while young cattle values bucked the trend for quality but were cheaper for plainer and feeder lines.
In lamb, supply was further moderated resulting in increases to demand; heavy classes were most affected rising $15-$20 a head, while trade weights were $5-$10 dearer. Mutton averaged slightly lower for the week.
