We'd love to see how you are decorating for the festive season at your place.

It’s December which means the silly season has officially kicked off.

It also happens to be one of our photographer, Rachael Webb, and journalists’ favourite times to be on the road as they get to see all the wonderful Christmas-themed decorations that are getting around on road sides, front gates and more as farmers, bushies and those living in regional communities bust out the tinsel.

We’d love to see what you’ve got at your place to celebrate Christmas – from how Santa is hanging out at your place to reindeer ears on the working dogs – we’d love to see it.

Kate Dixon who works on a property north of Echuca has been busy making decorations already, and sent some photos of her handiwork to us.

Ms Dixon said it had taken eight weeks to make all these decorations by hand.

She said it tells the story of the Grinch trying to destroy Christmas by spraying presents.

“Santa’s obviously at the outback loo!” she said.

“The animals are being rounded up by the chopper at the North Pole station. And Mrs Clause is harvesting on the Rein-Deere header!”
