Kambala’s 2018 academic results demonstrate that the school’s choice of learning pathways inspires personal and academic excellence amongst its students, with outstanding results in both the Higher School Certificate and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
In the HSC, Kambala ranked the 14th most successful school in NSW - the highest ranked non-selective girls’ school in Sydney’s eastern suburbs – and it’s IB results are among the best in Australia.
Kambala students enjoy a world of opportunity both in and out of the classroom and gain an international perspective, benefiting from the expertise and care of highly specialised teachers and an engaged school community.
By offering both the HSC and IB Diploma, Kambala students can choose the pathway that will help them maximise their personal and academic potential.
“Kambala’s mission is to nurture and challenge every girl to realise her full potential for personal and academic excellence,” principal Shane Hogan said.
“We’re proud to offer a choice of learning pathways where girls can achieve either the NSW Higher School Certificate or the International Baccalaureate Diploma.”
A Kambala music scholarship is helping 12-year-old Eli Alfassi to pursue her personal excellence.
Eli believes the scholarship experience has enabled her to enjoy many things that she wouldn’t have had access to otherwise.
“Kambala has an amazing music department that really supports you to strive for your personal best, and to succeed,” Eli said.
“Through this scholarship, my confidence has undoubtedly been brought up, and so has my level of playing.
“There is a healthy competitive environment which is good as it always pushes you to try your best, and to always give 100 per cent.”
Kambala offers a variety of scholarships each year.
Applications are invited from girls who are either current students or who are attending other schools.
