The 2019 Goulburn Show will be on the weekend of March 2 and 3, with lots of fun things to do and see for the whole family.
“This year we have lots of new and old attractions,” president of the Goulburn AP and H Society, Jacki Waugh said.
“A first for country NSW will be the appearance of Dock Dogs.
“Watch the dogs jump as high and far as they can into a giant swimming pool.
“There will be teams competing against each other and individual runs as well, plus the general public can also bring your own dogs down to have a go.
“If this interests you just send your entry request email to dockdogsau@gmail.com.”
Other popular dog events will be on again, with more than 400 competing in the All Breeds Championship.
“You can see the agility and fly-ball demonstrations on Saturday and the dog high jump competition on the Sunday,” Ms Waugh said.
“Another new feature for 2019 will be several performances by contortionist Bendy Em.
“She will be performing three to four shows a day, in between our other local talent including Invert Gymnastic, Goulburn Martial Arts Academy, Goulburn Multicultural Zumba and others.
“Eljay Freestyle Entertainment weren’t here in 2018, but they will be back this year.
“Every kid young and old will love them.
“There are also important causes you can get behind.
“The Goulburn Teapot Club raise funds to support children within the Autism Spectrum in the Goulburn region.
“This year we have created a new category in the flower schedule with $2 from each entry going to the Goulburn Teapot Club to help them with their fundraising.
“We welcome individuals, community groups, pre-schools, schools, nursing homes and clubs to construct a scarecrow and enter it in the competition.
“One more exciting new section is the Goulburn Show Reel Short Film Festival.
“The show will also include farm and vintage machinery displays, show jumping, sideshow alley, food and produce stalls, Get Wild Animal Experiences with a reptile and animal show, and much more.”
