Good support from buyers at Tenterfield store sale

What looked like rain on the horizon was actually settled smoke from the massive Wallangarra fires under a thin cover of cloud which soon burned off to reveal more blue sky.
Angus weaner steers, 10 months, from Milton Barratt's Lyndale Partnership, Swamp Oak, Tenterfield, topped the store sale at Tenterfield on Thursday. What looked like rain on the horizon was actually settled smoke from the massive Wallangarra fires under a thin cover of cloud which soon burned off to reveal more blue sky.

Some 2150 head presented at Tenterfield saleyards on Thursday with a swag of buyers bringing good competition to a sale swollen with calves offloaded a month earlier than usual.
