THE NEXT CROP moved into its second phase at Molong on Monday evening when 100 people attended the first of upwards of a dozen The Next Crop Rural Revitalisation Gatherings being conducted throughout the state.
Behavioural scientist Allan Parker, Peak Performance Development Pty Ltd, facilitated this new project to rural communities in partnership with The Land.
"People came with open minds from communities within the Cumnock, Yeoval, Orange, Wellington and Molong districts," Mr Parker said.
"We had constructive conversations while building relationships with each member of the gathering given opportunities to speak, most seven or eight times for at least five minutes each time.
"I found attendees were very keen to regroup and continue with The Next Crop program."
Phase Two gatherings are now timed for Glen Innes on Tuesday, March 19 and Yass on Thursday, March 21.
