NSW Farm Writers have scored a coup by getting rival political agriculture ministers to tackle the major policy issues at a Farm Writers lunch next Monday (March 18).
Billed as the 2019 NSW Primary Industries Portfolio Debate in the lead up to the March 23 election, the rivals will discuss the best plans and policies to make agriculture prosper in this state.
"Farm Writers have asked Primary Industries Minister Niall Blair and Shadow Minister Mick Veitch to share their insights into what the policy settings and priorities will be for primary industries in NSW whether the Government is returned or the Opposition is elected. This discussion will be the pair’s final appearances in Sydney before the election on 23 March 2019.
"If you have a passion for issues affecting agriculture and rural and regional communities, this is your chance to ask the tough questions on the eve of the 2019 election. Get in quick, places are limited and bookings close this Thursday."
The venue is The Grace Hotel, York St, Sydney, Time: 12 for 12:30pm start, Price: $80 Members, $100 Non-Members.
