Each year, thousands of people attend The Man from Snowy River Bush Festival at Corryong, Victoria, taking home with them lifelong memories.
For Riverina couple Lauren and Edward Bowden the 2011 festival will remain a reminder of the beginning of their romance.
"The festival will forever hold a special place in our hearts," Lauren said.
Seven years later, the couple sealed their love, tying the knot on their Adelong property.
"We wanted our wedding to be a reflection of us, laid back, rustic and very romantic," Lauren said.
"We had the whole thing from start to finish on our property, the ceremony was in our paddock under an arbour built from timber cut from Edward's grandfather's property, the arbour remains in the paddock and will remain for as long as we are on this property.
"Fairy lights and candles were a must, there's nothing more romantic then a shed lit by fairy lights and candles."
The wedding and reception was attended by 120 guests.
Edward's best man was Joe McCormick, and his groomsmen were Matt Dean, Matt Neyland and Brad Ellison. While Lauren's maids of honour were Kate Harris and Brooke West, and the bridesmaids were Molly Dyson and Alyssa Phaiboonbusarakam.
"The best part of the day by far was being able to celebrate our love surrounded by our nearest and dearest friends and family at our home," Lauren said.
"It was everything we could have hoped for, our day was perfect, the weather was perfect and we had so much fun!"
