Faces around the ring during the school steer judging

Around the Sydney Royal school steer competition judging ring

There was plenty to see inside and outside judging ring as school students prepared their steers and offered support during the School Steers Competition judging at Sydney Royal Show.

School students from across NSW converged on Sydney this week to show off their well groomed steers during the Sydney Royal Show.

The special School Steers Competition attracted plenty of quality entrants, but it was a meaty 626 kilogram Limousin steer exhibited by Scots All Saints College, Bathurst, and bred by Phil and Sheridan Kirk of Wilworril Limousins, Peak Hill, that took the top prize.
