MERINO ewes sold to a top of $141 in a total auction clearance of 2800 head at Narromine store sheep sale last Thursday.
Jason Hartin of Hartin Schute Bell said the 100 per cent clearance sold to buyers among the crowd of 65 from Condobolin, Young, and Mudgee.
Kyoma Partnership, Tomingley sold 600 Merino ewes 5-1/2 years February shorn of Gumhill blood, mulesed and joined to White Suffolks topped at $141 to a Young district restocker. Another Grass-blood draft made $131.
Illawong Pastoral Company, Narromine, sold 395 Merino ewes 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 years April shorn of Boxleigh Park blood joined to Merino rams topping at $139 to Mudgee.
Powell family, Allawah, Narromine, gained $138 for 280 Merino ewes also 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 yrs, April shorn of Boxleigh blood scanned to Merino rams also going to Mudgee. another 200 of same age scanned to Border Leicester rams also made $138 a head.
