A further area of approximately 500ha has potential to be developed subject to current and future approvals.
For a more intensive agricultural development, Warrakimbo North's 2623.47ha block consists of the developed irrigation area of 260ha and 2000 ML water licences,a dryland farming area of 1272ha and unimproved grazing and timber area of 1092ha but no other improvements.
The fully fenced irrigation area comprises 360ha, of which 260ha has been developed for surface irrigation and row cropping.
The highly secure water source features a stock and domestic bore providing 20,000L per day through a reticulated system to troughs and seven stock watering dams.
Sandhill Plain Creek runs through the property and provides beneficial flooding.
The groundwater allocation is used through an irrigation bore providing 8ML per day.
A 400ML ring tank adjacent to the bore provides for speedy and efficient irrigation.
The property is currently subdivided into 11 fenced paddocks, however, a new fencing program has begun with more than 7km of new fencing erected.
The homestead and main access is located 13km east of the Newell Highway, and is an easy 30 minute drive to West Wyalong, 40 minutes to Grenfell and 45 minutes to Forbes.
Caragabal is the nearest village, with a rural service centre, a Graincorp silo, a school, a pub and other facilities.
