THE seventh annual on-property sale for Outwest Angus was held on Thursday to a good crowd of both new and repeat buyers.
Twenty-four head sold to seven buyers for a sale average of $3826.
Top priced bull, Outwest Gen Napier was sold to Rob and Cathie Colless, Come-by-Chance for $8000.
Whilst they have been traditionally Wagyu breeders Mr Colless believes that after the drought everyone will want an Angus heifer.
Volume buyers, Jim and Jo O'Brien, Gulargambone bought eight bulls to a top of $4000 and an average of $4000.
The sale was conducted by Elders Coonamble with Brian Kennedy manning the rostrum.
